Why Boat Diving?
Some of the best diving comes from a boat, which is generally the only way to get out far enough to experience the best in visibility & marine encounters. So, unless you like to fin out & get some exercise, your best bet is paying a little extra & taking a Charter Boat. They'll also help to insure the dive goes smoothly & offer amenities you'll enjoy. As well, it's really the only way for a Group to experience the dive together.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited space available on any charter, a notification policy of 72 hours is required for a full refund when the reservation is for a diving party of 3 or less. An additional 24 hours is required for each additional member of a party of more than 3 divers Example: Cancel by Wednesday 12:00 for Saturday morning and afternoon charters. Cancel by Thursday at 12:00 for Sunday morning and afternoon charters. Cancel an additional 24 hours earlier for every diver in the party over 3. Ask for your cancellation time for your party when making reservations. Proof of scuba certification required. |

Two tank dive trips are $75 and we normally stay in the
bay (but not always). Three tank dive trips are $100 and we normally head to Carmel Bay or further south (weather permitting). |

The Escapade is a 38-foot Canaveral certified for 24
divers. She can cruise at speeds up to 20 knots to reduce
travel time to the dive sites. The safety and navigational
equipment includes; GPS, radar, radio, first aid and oxygen.
We visit dive sites in Monterey and Carmel Bay based upon
weather and ocean conditions. Cancellation Policy: Customer cancellations may be rescheduled if notice is received at least 72 hours prior to scheduled trip. Cancellation of confirmed trips by Dive Central due to weather or mechanical failure will be rescheduled or refunded. |

Tanks, drinks & snacks included for all trips. Morning trip boards at 7:30 & afternoon trip at 1:30. No refunds without 72 hour notice - Charters available during the week by request - Customer may provide own tank(s) for a $4 discount per dive at time of reservation. |

at: “K” Dock (Harbormasters Office) Next to the Municipal Wharf, between the English Pub & Public Launch Ramp. Take the Pacific Grove/ Del Monte Ave. exit from HWY 1. Stay to the right & watch for a sign indicating a right turn to “Fisherman's Wharf”. Turn right on Figueroa St. & then left into the metered parking lot. Peninsula Boat sales will be on your right. |

Boarding at Yellow Dock on
Municipal Wharf #2 in Monterey. Take the Pacific Grove/ Del Monte Ave. exit from HWY 1. Stay to the right & watch for a sign indicating a right turn to “Fisherman's Wharf”. Turn right on Figueroa St. & continue Straight ahead onto Municipal Wharf #2. Peninsula Boat sales will be on your right. Drive out onto the wharf past the “Sandbar & Grill”, the gray restrooms, & the sign on the right saying “Concessionaire Vehicles Only Beyond this point”. Just before you get to the US Freezer Co. there is a staircase down from the wharf to a loading dock. You’re here! The curb is painted yellow for loading & unloading. |
